Khalis forced me to take the earliest possible train so maybe I’ll take the 845 one.. waaaa….so early… It means that I have to wake up paling lambat 730 and start walking at 8.. Encik Khalis..you sooooooo have to treat me good.. This is a huge+great+big pengorbanan of mine since my normal bgn tido time is 11…(oppsss..before you guys start labelling me pemalas, I sleep around 3 everynite tau..)

Yesterday was my birthday..Khalis forgot to wish on time and I took it as a bad sign.. It’s only my third birthday with him and he already lupa.. Surely I’d understand if this is my 50th birthday with him..
Omigod!!! I’m soo old.. I wish I’d stay 18 forever.. My housemates said “WOW!!” when they knew I’m already 21..but for me, the fact that I’m now 21 is really depressing.. I always have this famous pepatah arab in mind –masa ibarat pedang.. It is so true.. Every new day that arrives keep on reminding me of the useless days I’ve been living for the past 21 years.. There are things that can never be corrected and things I’d never get the chance to do.. My life can never be perfected and before I know, I will become old and berkedut2… there’s no way I can escape that so sayang, let’s grow old together and cheer me up when I cry bcoz of my kedut2.. Now I’m size 8-10 and be prepared for the day I’ll be wearing 18…
But anyway, it’s one of the best birthdays I’ve had.. a lot of people remembered and I got byk cards.. there was no birthday party but masak lemak udang my fren cooked was sooo sedap..(although it wasn’t actually for my birthday…ahahhahhah)

My water heating system got rosak for a few days and I mandi with air yg sejuk giler cam air batu.. Different people came everyday to fix it and its only today the problem could be identified… Finally..

So Warwick.. I’m coming…

A shameful praise of a fantastic film.
Leon (Jean Reno) is a tortured soul. He lives in squalor and misery, never truly happy or at peace with himself. After all, he is a hitman. He lives quietly from kill to kill, harming no-one whom he has not been paid to assassinate. He is a simplistic, childlike man who lives by his own set of morals but is troubled by them. The one thing he seems to fear above all else is change.

Mathilda (Natalie Portman) is Leon's neighbour. A young girl, she lives with her father, step-mother, half-sister and half-brother. As unhappy as Leon, she lives in awe of the dark stranger, unaware of his true profession. Beaten by her parents and sister, she has abandoned school and instead spends the day watching cartoons and trying to escape from the real world.

When Mathilda's family is brutally murdered by a drug crazed Norman Stansfield (Gary Oldman), her only chance for survival is to hide with her neighbour. When she learns of Leon's true identity, she becomes infatuated with both him, and the grim world he inhabits.

This stark portrayal of humanity and inhumanity is produced with the style and finesse that one expects from Luc Besson. In addition, the combined talents of Jean Reno, Natalie Portman and Gary Oldman provide not only an unmatched on-screen chemistry, but also three perfectly created characterisations, the like of which are rarely seen in today's cinema. This film has my personal recommendation of being the best piece of cinema that I know of. I have not seen anything that matches it in terms of intensity or emotion - and believe me, I've looked. I found myself caring for the characters involved, an unique experience in itself. This is not the type of film for a night in with your mates, but nevertheless, it is an unforgettable piece of cinematic history.

Kimi Wa Petto

Hype!!!
I went to the city today for the sales my friends had been raving on and onnn… just what I had expected, I ended up buying nothing..yep..nothing at all.. There were of course good+cheap stuff but my (or we, girls) main problems are:

1. The pants were all too long.
2. NO size 8.. or maybe I got there a bit late..
3. Reductions were only on skimpy clothes.

So, to get rid of the frustration, I spent hours on E-bay and bid for baju2 like crazy..
Khalis always said that I'm too kedekut and wont but anything that's a little bit pricey,well... let me clarify then..
Question:
Why did I go to the city?
Answer:
Because there are sales going on (which means prices are expected to be low).

Since the keyword here is SALES (or "buy one get one free" as Dorothy Perkins put it), it will be totally waste of time and effort (and money oso) for me to buy the stuff on reductions, but still reflecting the normal prices.. If I'm going to buy things at normal prices, then why do I have to wait for sales? I can just point my finger on any date and go shopping anytime anywhere.. Get what I mean? I dunno...ahahhahahah...




Okehs.. the second drama that I finished is Kimi Wa Petto (You’re My Pet).. Matsumoto Jun’s there again..and this time he’s a lot better. He’s sooo kawai in Kimi Wa Petto. It’s like the role’s tailor-made for him. I’d seen him being serious in few dramas and I found it very klaka+tak seswaiiiiiiiii .. So, the story is about this guy, Takeshi, who got beaten up and hid himself in a big box. He is found by Sumire Iwaya (she’s cold blooded, hated by many and just got dumped by his bf) who later fixes his cuts and bruises. She then leaves a note for him to eat some food she made then go home because she had to go to work. When she gets home however she finds that he is still there. He tells her that he wants to live there with her like a brother or cousin. In desperation to get him to leave she tells him that if he became her pet then he could stay. And as a pet she says that he would have no rights and do whatever she told him. (not in that perverted way!) To her surprise he agrees and from then on he is known as Momo, her pet. Oh, btw in this drama, she’s 29 and he’s 20.. wait, before you say "yucks", watch this drama and you'll agree with me that they look good together..

I just finished my second paper which was considerably hard.. It never occurred to me that opportunity cost could be so confusing..( it’s the first thing we learnt in econs after all..)..but anyway... I’m soooo hepi that all my worries are now gone.. I only have maths left but I’m not worried lansung..

So..these 2 weeks,as I said before, I’m so busy watching drama.. The first that I finished was Hana Yori Dango.. I am a huge fan of Meteor Garden and although this one can be considered as a remake, they are different. There are of course similar scenes and dialogue, but Hana Yori Dango is Hana Yori Dango. So, its not Meteor Garden at all. While in Meteor Garden emotion is running high, Hana Yori Dango however is a hepi2 teen drama.. since i've watched Meteor Garden like beribu2 kali already, it has gradually became plain and tak best..(well..at least to me..)..Btw, during the period that I was crazy bout Meteor Garden, I once refused a family vacation bcoz i didn't want to miss it on tv..

I wasn’t interested at all to tgk Hana Yori Dango before ,simply because Matsumoto Jun is sooooo buruk in it.. I must say that Jerry Yan did much much much better.. Jun's acting is also bad (especially the unnecessary tears when Rui's leaving), but anyway, he’s very very popular+hot now rite?
A lot of people watched Hana Yori Dango already..so there’s no need for me to do reviews. I had great time watching Hana Yori Dango and so if you guys got the chance, don’t hesitate, just watch it.. I’m not saying that its not boring (yes, it is a little bit).. but seronok jugak arhh..

i just had my first paper done..Teruk Gile!!!!! I kinda thought that this paper couldn't be worse than Econs A2 since we'd have more time.. but i was soooo wrong.. even with the extra 30 minutes, the essays were still terukly done..so...yeah..i just waited for the mark lor...but anyway..the good news is : with that paper done, i'm done with Principle of Business Management forever (with, of course the exception that i fail and have to resit)..although it will be replaced with Finance (which Khalis so susah),i'm still hepi coz in finance no need to do history...

the city now is having sales gila2 punyer and i still haven't got the chance to shopping kaw2...i have econs paper coming up next and i havent read anything..anything at all..

A Ferrrari

Well, up until today I (and we) am still consistent and productive to update this blog everyday. Maybe it’s the newbie syndrome.

Officially, my cuti abes this week. However, unlike other unis, I wont be having classes until 31st Jan. Hepi gilerrrrr!!!. My cuti started on 17th Dec and habis 6 weeks after.. Since I only have 3 papers between 1st and 30th Jan, I still have plenty of time to beronggeng.
My housemates start coming back today and I’m expecting dishes to start piling up. It’s truly heartbreaking to say goodbye to shiny, spotless and spacious kitchen I’ve been enjoying in these 3 weeks.

About the Merc 190e that Khalis mentioned earlier. I don’t think it’s that old. I’m OK with it.. Before I saw it, Khalis always told me - that car is very very buruk. Man, I had imagined the batman nyer Merc tau. Other than the non-economic fuel consumption (if you agree to 100% fund it..) I have no problem with it to be our first car. I have absolute faith in you, u wont drive anything un-good.

I saw this Ferrari last week and couldn’t stop myself from taking the photo. Call me jakun or whatever but I wasn’t the only one who was stunned. You can see clearly from the pic how many heads turned. Thanks to my D600 the pic is of good quality..hehhehehe.. Some even went closer and touched it. I never lalu sebelah a Ferrari before. Of course I had seen a few drove past me before (which means I didn’t have the chance to do the evaluation) but never the static one. Now that I had a closer look at it, only one word could describe it - WOW!!
Everything about Ferrari is fantastic. Khalis hasn’t brief me about the specs and the performance of this particular car yet. But based on the look and interior I must say that it’s superb. I don’t know which Ferrari is this and I let Khalis sayang do the pengenalan on my behalf. Let me say it again, I love the design. What really stands out is that the engine is made transparent for the viewers. I could see the engine and it’s nothing like my parents’ cars’. I could sense the superbness and went lusting for it immediately. The engine seemed strong and powerful. God, I want this car. And I want Ahmad Khalis too.

I havent tried this NFS most wanted. Khalis keep on saying that it's awesome..I have no doubt bout that...I have NFS2 installed in my laptop (courtesy of Khalis dearie of course)..dulu2 gile la kan main hari2 tak bleh brenti...but now I just main jarang2 - only if I think my laptop buruk need to be pressured so that it doesn't underperform. I just play for the sake of playing.. I dont create career...I use the cars khalis won for me...and I play macam org gile sume bende pon nk langgar...the truth is-I havent got myself driving license. I can't drive..hahhahahha...
but I wasn't bad in NFS2 tau.. I started from scratch (and Khalis gelak2 histerically at me) and I won medium after 2 days.. considering I haven't touched real cars before, my achievement cant be "understated" tau..

I masak megi today and saute the onions with butter..konon nak try sumthing different la kan.. But saudara sedari, dont try that at home. It was awful. Totally awful..

You really had to edit my post and kondem2 org as usual didn’t you? I just knew it, you’d have it edited the moment I published it. So far, I still manage to keep you writing everyday..that’s, honey, what I called success.

I must say that I love Bugatti Veyron the moment I saw it in Top Gear (and that’s of course with you). The pic Khalis put did no justice to it. Whoever the photographer was, it was taken from the WRONG angle. Believe me, it looks better if its not painted like a clown. It never occurred to me that such car could ever be created. At least not last year, or this year, or 5 years after that. I’d love to have one (berangan la kan..) but what’s the point.. I can never drive it up to its max speed. Surely no highways is sunyi enough to allow that..

I’ve always love Peugeot. I consider it cute and city-ish. It’s compact and small, definitely everything I want a good car to be. I don’t know, but I never found Merc or BMW interesting except the coupe ones. I know they are great cars and I’d get one if I become rich enough but I just…dont love them. Khalis always said, Peugeot is not good and don’t ever consider getting one. But what can I do? I’m in love… About a two months ago, while I was happily walking after paying my internet nyer bil, one blue shiny Vauxhall Tigra turned to the corner I was standing. It was a coupe. I was stunned. I fell in love with it immediately. I made a mistake by pointing to some guys a 2+2 Tigra and one of them said, “Buruknye taste ko.” They were right. A Tigra has to be a coupe to look good. Also, it needs to be shiny and polished. An unpolished black Tigra would be an awful view. However, these days, I don’t love Tigra that much anymore. Particularly because there’s a one in black I see everyday parked 5 metres away from my house. It isn’t shiny, so I hate it. Peugeot and Tigra. These two are cheap cars (although not in Malaysia). I think I don’t like the fact that I like them. I don’t like the fact that my taste is very bad.

Oh my god..my post is totally crappy today. Blame it on the exams coming.

I drove it to KYUEM to take my A-level result with it....I never feel ashamed of driving it....out of all the car I've driven in my life....non can handled well like it.....I really wish that I can publish her picture here...but I dont have any...so sad..sob..sob..

Ayam percik Sedap

Let me start with sumthin yummy.. I was invited today to makan ayam percik.. Soooo nice and sooo sedap.. The process took 5 hours because --someone forgot to bring blender, someone brought blender and the blender got rosak+pecah there, two ppl went to Cartwright to ambik blender and finally when the blender managed to get there, none of the suis letrik is compatible with 2-pin plug. So, the blender had to travel again to tingkat 4 and luckily this time the suis there behaved and by 4pm, we had the BEST ayam percik (yes, I’m exaggerating) in Cardiff.

A few days earlier Khalis told me to update this blog. I understood that he’s busy with test coming and essays..All that I had to do was just mentioned bout cars and not only he did edit my post panjang gila, he also posted a new one straight after he read mine..

About my “who owns who” yesterday, I did not mention that it’s a 1999 stuff in a third edition book. Now that the book is in its 4th, it is not relevant anymore. But what I really wanted to say was- the car industry is very confusing. One glance you see all car makers are unique and independent but in reality, there is something Ford in a Mazda and Renault can decide how they want a Nissan to be. I always thought that Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Jaguar and etc. are strong, innovative and brilliant enough to stand on their own but in fact, less superior car makers do contribute towards building their reputation. Let me copy and paste something I read..
“…Volkswagen purchased the Rolls Royce factory, but only obtained the right to manufacture Bentley car. The right to manufacture the Rolls Royce was held by another company, Rolls Royce Aero-engines, who opted to sell this right to BMW.”
So, keep this in mind – Rolls Royce cars are made by BMW.

Khalis made the Satria below sounds impressive. I don’t know..the rupa (no offence) is still buruk to me and it reminds me of Vauxhall Corsa (the later version of course). Maybe I am not being fair.. I hate 2 doors 4-seater cars to the max. I, of course, did not understand the terms he used to describe the expected performance and the “greatness” of the car. That means my judgement is based on the design alone. But anyway, I know that any car that can go from 0-60 mph in 9 seconds is a good car.

HEY!!!!!!!!!....I completely disagree...don't misunderstood....there's a good reason why these SUPERB car makers are owned by cheap car companies....you have to know that owning these big names car manufacturers does not necessarily mean that they are better...the most OBVIOUS example...Proton owned Lotus....but Proton's cars are not better than the Lotus' in any way.....think of it....Lotus have the Elise, Exige and Europa...which are all fantastic!....Gen2 and Savvy just a piece of moving crap....

Jeremy Clarkson said the main problem with this cikai car companies is they are profit maximiser....their products have no soul and passion...unlike the Ferrari, Lamborghini, Jaguar, Aston Martin....the produce MASTERPIECE of engineering....they don't make much profit from selling these luxurious cars....therefore, they don't have enuff fund to invest in R&D....how do u raise more capital....answer: Issue more shares...that's it...very smart!!!....that's why these big names are owned by the cikai companies....

Some of u maybe think that they are stupid....why produce mahal2 car and cannot raise enuff profit....u want to know why???...these big names are the key to new techs and innovation....without them...cars will remain crap all the time...we take the case of Formula 1....if Honda does not waste their money in this sport...they will be no VTec, i-Vtec...VVT-i in case of Toyota today...they acquired these techs from their research in the F1 cars and use it in the normal cars....the result...more power....less fuel consumption...and long lasting engine...and want to know what is more shocking....eventhough Proton owned Lotus....their engine still don't have this variable valve timing feature...see....it doesn't mean if u owned anyone u r better....

Conclusion: Don't blindly assumed that "I always thought that Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Jaguar and etc. are strong, innovative and brilliant enough to stand on their own but in fact, less superior car makers do contribute towards building their reputation."There are many good reasons behind it...and in fact, they are more SUPERIOR!

And on the new Satria...have to admit it's not "that" good looking....but who give a damn when the ride is a masterpiece even when it looks ugly....u think F1 cars are beauty???...it's beauty because of its engineering....don't be so narrow minded....u all may think that Waja is certainly one of the ugliest Proton...but don't be surprise to know that Waja capped the most "stars" in rating and review overseas compare to other Protons up to this day......yup!

"But anyway, I know that any car that can go from 0-60 mph in 9 seconds is a good car."...nope!....certainly there are more than that!!!

Volkswagen owned Bugatti, and this Veyron uses two Audi's V8 engines...Sauber helps on the aerodynamics...this is truly a MASTERPIECE...selling price £810,000....and each car cost around £5M to produce....Volkswagen are making loss...but there are happy of what their engineers are capable of....ciao~

Satria Replacement Model

Okies...Satria is my favourite Proton car...rumours said the replacement model is going to be released this year...so, it's my most anticipated car of the year...hope this one get a good review overseas...poor Gen2 received the title "The worst car of the year :2005"....the CamPro engine also sux....people said Proton is cheating the customer with the CamPro badge....hope the next Satria will have a better engine specs...DOHC, VVT-i, ABS, Airbags, Ventilated-disc brakes...and most of all a nice interior and a comfy ride+handling....

I have some spyshots on the new Satria...not as ugly as Savvy...so, I don't think its design will be kutuk kaw² like the TopGear kutuk the ugly Savvy..or shall i call it Sawi instead....SRM 24 is the codename for it...see for yourself...

Seems Proton is working with Kleemann for it’s new 1.8 liter Campro to be found in the Satria Replacement Model. The 1.8 liter Campro engine will be developed to be fitted with Kleemann’s twin-screw supercharger.The Kleemann supercharger managed to push up output from 306hp and 460Nm torque up to 506hp and 675Nm torque on a 5 liter Mercedes V8 engine without any engine modifications. okies...These (below) Proton Satria Replacement Model spy photos were captured by spy auto photographer Hans G. Lehmann in England going through test rounds. It’s covered with black tape. And with one look, you can see it’s turbocharged!This is likely the GTI model. Note the lowered suspension, front lip and the side skirts. The rims are also different from the ones we saw before. No more bling bling rims. Thank goodness.I wonder what the specifications of the engine are. A turbocharged Proton Satria Replacement Model! Woohoo.

yep..khalis will be having exam tomorrow while mine still have 12 days to go..first i thought that i'd be sitting for 5,but am VERY happy to know i onli have 3..i know a lot of people have less but anyway..muahahahaa... but the better news is that NO legal studies exam..no need to memorize cases ma... i'm doin accounting btw..how they managed to put boring boring boring english parliament+civil&criminal cases on syllabus really amazed me..

As the people who were responsible for the purchase of Meccanica Verghera Agusta (M.V. Agusta) motorcycle manufacturer of Italy, we, Tun Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad and Tengku Tan Sri Mahaleel Tengku Ariff, think Proton owes an explanation to Proton shareholders and to the public the reason a company that was bought for Euro 70 million (RM315 million) was sold for one Euro (RM4.50).

This sale must cause Proton to lose RM315 million less RM4.50. Assuming that this relieves Proton from paying the loss incurred by M.V. Agusta over the 15 months at Euro 26.87 million (or RM131 million), it would still lose the purchase price of Euro 70 million (RM315 million) by selling off at one Euro.
