Matrimony: Shopping

We went out on a shopping spree today. We got Isetan and Parkson vouchers (Thank you ppl!!)in our hands so naturally, KLCC was the place to be. We gerak from our house at 10am and sampai KLCC at 1030..

We went to Maybank first, to deposit mas kahwin. When we're done, its 1045am and Khalis said:

"We have to split.Now is 1045am, so we have an hour (je???!!!) for both Isetan and Parkson, call me when you're done"


I knew mmg I couldnt do both in just 1 hour, so I went to Isetan first and bought a few dresses and before I knew it - time's up. I havent spent my Parkson vouchers - but Parkson is everywhere, so xyah risau.

Khalis called me exactly at 1145am and we pegi tgk periuk belanga lak...


Khalis managed to buy things from both - he bought the essentials (jeans,tshirts,shorts - which I could do with my eyes closed =PPP) so it was easier for him.

and inilah hasilnya..my shopping bag's just ONE, the rest Khalis nyer..

Before balik, I racun him to singgah Kinokuniya jap and we bought 6 paperbacks. Mine were all fiction (4 books) and Khalis nyer lak books on Economics je..

After KLCC, we decided to go to Puchong - beli brg kete.

Dekat LDP smart tag nyer lane, tetiba lak satu van depan kete kitorg suddenly berenti, and REVERSED! Its weird enough to stop kat smart tag lane, but to actually reverse the van??? for no reason at all?? We saw the van coming, but we could do nothing as there were lotsa cars behind. but Khalis sempat tekan brek to prevent our car from crashing into the car behind us. so what we got ialah smashed bumper depan...

Khalis got out of the car, gaduh2 sikit, jotted down the van driver's ic no and I plak ambik gambar both vehicles. He gave us his no and said that there's no need to pegi balai but we could go to his workshop instead and nanti dia baiki lah. after kene langgar, xde mood la kn nk pegi beli brg kete, so we went to his parents' house je lah.

And just 30 mints ago, the van driver sent his mechanics here to pick up our car. He said he will bikin cantik-cantik and esok boleh siap.

But Khalis was awesome. He was very, very calm and just few minutes after the crash, we had started gelak2. And I knew married the right guy.

p/s I wrote this yesterday, but time nk post, the internet got DC..We are now in Koh Samui =))))

Matrimony: Presents

We were actually surprised to see the boxes and boxes of wedding presents for the kenduri of both sides.

Hari ini & Semalam

This morning the lrt stations at my place sampai office were closed. So I panicked a lil bit..Queue for cab was super long, I didnt think I could ever get into one so I decided to naik KL bas for the first time. The traffic was bad halfway. I got a seat at Titiwangsa and and the journey was bearable after that. The bus took me sampai Sogo and from there, I had to walk to the office..Sabar je lah..When I got here, it was already late so pagi tadi I didnt present anything lah..

Last night, our biz associate belanja us bukak puasa at Al Amar @ Pavilion, 6th floor - Lebanese Buffet. I found the food ok..They had something like Chicken biryani gam - I loved it. But the lamb was too tender for my liking. In terms of variety, mmg x byk..Ade fruits, houmous, soup, bread, and super sweet mid eastern desserts. For main dish, they had one each for chicken,lamb, fish..and two veggie. The buffet price was RM60++person..Sbg org cheapskate, utk mid eastern nyer food - I still prefer one of our dept fav places, Al Rawsha. The portion's huge and one set of rice can be shared by two. And Khalis loves Al Rawsha too!

Alang2 kat Pavilion, while waiting for Fariq to pick us up, Sarah and I did our last minute raya shopping jap..So did Hanafi, he too had not bought anything yet for raya. Since raya dah dekat sangat, to clear up their stocks, Parkson kasik discount best2 for baju kurung..So last night I bought lah my baju raya..and they were dirt cheap!

Office Updates

There must be something wrong with me that I'm actually writing this boring entry.

We got a new team member last week, Logan and he is now in my team, together with Allen. See, in here, we support 1Malaysia concept. I even have this hideous red cap to prove it..

Last night, Boss belanja us at this place, Muhibbah Seafood in TTDI. In the afternoon, Sarah sent us this kejam email

Dear all,
I know you all can't wait for tonight's buka puasa. I have listed down the menu here so you can salivate while waiting for the real thing in 6 hours time. (I would have included pictures but that's just evil)

1) Deep fried squid
2) Butter prawns
3) Lemon chicken
4) Sweet & sour chicken
5) Steamed siakap with Thai sauce
6) Black pepper beef
7) Tomyam campur
8) Sweet sour lala
9) Kangkong belacan
10) Tauhu mapo

I booked 3 tables for us 30 lovely people. We are leaving office around 7.30pm. Be there by 8pm or else you will find yourself eating leftovers! =p

So jahat! I was super lapar during the day. Nurlin, Liyana and I were the last to arrive and ppl had started eating. Less than 30 ppl showed up and I shared the table with 5 other girls and we finished EVERYTHING. We actually did better than the boys table next to us.

Khalis is now in Kerteh, his first ever site visit!

No 4
Boss (and other bosses) has left for New York and Boston and will only be back end of this month. I should be screaming Partaaayyyyyyyyyy.. ( He just got back from the UK and during those days, I got to go back before 6..eheh) but since I'll be gone for 3 weeks starting the week after the next, no lepak time for me..
I am relieved from few routine tasks (now with Logan around) and now concentrating on this one 'project' which should be ready before boss gets back.. so in my case, I dgn rela hati aim to finish it this week.
