Day 1 (17 June 2008)

We took Ryanair flight to Sanderfjord from Birmingham. It was the first flight by Ryanair to Sanderfjord from Birmingham. Our flight departed from Terminal 2 and it was horrible. The queue was so long and so many flights got delayed. Flights were supposed to depart from Birmingham every 20 minutes but there were only 3 kaunter scan brg je... And they didnt even bother checking our passports since it will make people queueing even longer. We arrived at Sanderfjord at 2220 (as opposed to 2155) and met Rob outside the terminal building at 2240. Poor guy.. he must had waited 45 minutes for us. The hotel was 10 minutes from the airport by car.

The hotel room was ok.. I got the room in the attic. Its cozy and the duvet was super thick. And the bathroom was huge! We had nasi goreng and ayam goreng for dinner which we brought with us in our hand luggage. I dont know if normally lepas ke tak bawak food banyak2, but it was very chaotic in Terminal 2 and inspections were not done properly. I noticed that it wasnt very dark in Sanderfjord at night. Even in the middle of the night, kat luar mcm just hari mendung yg time hujan tuh.. I could clearly see things outside. Well, Norway is known as 'the land of midnight sun' pun kan..

Day 2 - Stromstad, Sweden

We cruised to Stromstad. The ship was huge, 200 metres long and could ferry to and from Sanderfjord 1700 passengers. Deck 5 and below were for vehicles. Deck 6 and 7 plak ade restaurants and duty free shops. Rob told us that food on board is cheaper than kat Sanderfjord. But its still expensive, e.g GBP 2.7 for fries only.

We arrived in Stromstad at 1230. The city was identical to Sanderfjord. We just jalan2 and took random pictures. Hmm.. I dont really remember what we did in Stromstad.

Food we ate: Lunch: Sharkfin Soup, Prawn with chinese sauce, Shrimp Omelette and Fried Pineapple with ice cream
Dinner: Sushi (Salmon and Crabstick)

Day 3: Sanderfjord, Norway

We checked out at 1000 and its our Sanderfjord jalan2 day. It was raining the whole day, tapi tak lebat lah.. The highlight of the day ialah Whaling Museum.. The fee to get in was 50NOK (approx GBP 5.10). The museum wasnt very big but it was ok.. One fact I remember ialah whaling made 70% out of total income tax in Norway at its peak. Nowadays whaling is illegal kan..except Eskimos yg ade quota whales per year that they can kill. And then we jalan2 to random places.

We arrived in Birmingham at 2330 (as opposed to 2320). They had this discrimination where people outside EU had to wait for people from EU to finish imegresen nyer inspection dulu and then baru diorg attended to us. Anyway, we managed to catch the last train from Birmingham International.. Seb baik..kalo tak..kne tido airport..huhuh..

Food We Ate: Lunch: McD Fillet O Fish and Vegetal Burger.
